            <title>Golden Alley 2010</title>

            <title>Church Tower</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Church Tower.jpg" src="http://www.twisia.com/mtp/pictures/Church%20Tower.jpg" class="mt-image-none" style="" height="900" width="600" /></span> <div><br />This church, St. George the Martyr Anglican, was built in 1844, and suffered a disastrous fire in 1955, according to <a href="http://www.geraldrobinson.ca/case-study-church-of-st-george-the-martyr.php">this webpage</a>.&nbsp; The only part that survived was this tower - the rest of the church was severely damaged, and much was rebuilt.&nbsp; The church is around the corner from my work, so I get to walk by this periodically on my trips out at lunchtime.&nbsp; <br /></div>]]></description>

            <title>Spadina Hallway</title>

It's incredibly evocative of the era, and every time I go through there, I feel like I'm back in high school, exploring the city via the subway system.&nbsp; Spadina Station was opened in two parts - the first in 1966, servicing the Bloor Line, and the rest in 1978, servicing the Yonge Line.&nbsp; You can see the different tiles on the left side of the picture, where the moving walkways used to be - according to Wikipedia, these were removed in 2004.&nbsp; <br /></div>]]></description>

            <title>Sunrise on Coxwell</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Sunrise on Coxwell.jpg" src="http://www.twisia.com/mtp/pictures/Sunrise%20on%20Coxwell.jpg" class="mt-image-none" style="" height="533" width="800" /></span> <div><br />New neighbourhood, new things to see.&nbsp; Of course, it'll be easier to see them when I'm not going to work in the dark, and coming home in the dark.&nbsp; Oh - and can it be warm again?&nbsp; I find that it's harder to focus on things around you when it's so cold that you can feel your nose hairs freezing together every time you breathe in.&nbsp; Still, the houses on Coxwell look warm and cozy, especially when the sun hits them in the morning.<br /></div>]]></description>

            <title>Black Creek at School</title>
